Sweat the City

Sweat the City” is a 10-part Canadian lifestyle series that explores the latest fitness, food and fashion trends with host, entrepreneur and international fashion model Adrianne Ho.

Each 30-minute episode starts out with a workout as Adrianne challenges herself to keep up with pros like surfer Anastasia Ashley and former #1 middleweight boxer Michael Olajide Junior as they show her the ropes. Following the workout, Adrianne meets up with a chef who introduces her to their signature dish and the cultural inspiration behind it. From there, she delves into design with a behind-the-scenes look into the world of high-octane fitness fashion.

“Sweat the City” offers tips to stay fit and healthy while discovering the local scene, whether in New York, Los Angeles, or Toronto where Adrianne introduces viewers to Ryerson University’s innovative Nutrition and Exercise Testing (NExT) Lab, heart-smart restaurants like FRESH, the cold-pressed plant-based juice company Greenhouse Juice Co., and Canadian clothing, footwear, and accessories retailer Jonathan and Olivia.

It makes sense that Adrianne would turn to television as the next step in a busy career including beauty campaigns for L’Oreal, MAC Cosmetics, and Maybelline. She has been a modern streetwear muse for Nike, Stussy, and Levi’s and in 2013, started her own digital platform called Sweat the Style, an active lifestyle blog turned athletic clothing line for women devoted to fashionable fitness. Sweat the Style has been featured in SHAPEVOGUE, and GQ, and has catapulted Adrianne to instagram celebrity status with 548,400 followers!

In addition to watching the series on ONETV HD, viewers can download the “Sweat the City” (STC) App that allows users to choose from the wide variety of workouts inspired by the television series, customize those workouts to focus on particular target zones, and sync the app to their Apple Watch or Fitbit.
