But Mrs. Clennam (Judy Parfitt) isn’t usually given to charity, so why has she made an exception in adopting Amy? Arthur tries to discover the truth that takes him to the Marshalsea Prison for Debt, where he befriends Amy’s father, William Dorrit (Tom Courteney).
